Audits, XXX Field Trips and County Records

Poll Question: When was the last time the Financial Books of the Twin Falls GOP Central Committee were audited by an independent CPA?

Answer:  Over six years ago!

In the midst of the recent Republican National Committee scandal, where a authorized payment of nearly $2,000 to a bondage-themed West Hollywood nightclub for party patrons, it is pertinent to ensure our leaders--both nationally and locally--are on sound ethical footing.  

We get enraged with the Republican National Committee for mis-appropriating funds (gross under-statement given the strip-club), but why wouldn't our own Twin Falls Republican Central Committee ensure Magic Valley donors that their money is being utilized in an ethical manner?

Will the Twin Falls Republicans stick their neck out and publicly denounce the actions of the RNC?  It is doubtful.

Nearly 400 people attended the Twin Falls Republican's Lincoln Day event, at a price tag of $75/each.  Do you wonder what will, or has, been done with that money?  If you contributed, does it make you uneasy to know that they haven't audited their books in 6+ years?

We here at Restore Twin Falls GOP encourage you to call Ken Edmonds, Committee Treasure, and respectfully ask for an independent audit of Twin Falls Republican Party's Financial Books.

Interesting note here, while searching for Ken's phone number we found that the last time the Twin Falls Republicans updated their Precinct Leaders contact list for the county records was in 2007...  http://www.twinfallscounty.org/pdf/Clerk/elections/rep%20central%20committee.pdf

So, the phone number for Ken, 733-2819 (735-0144), is from this 2007 list: the only publicly available document informing voters of their precinct leader.

The Restoration will provide regularly audited financial reporting, providing transparency and accountability.

The Restoration will also publicly denounce actions by the RNC for funding field trips to the local strip club!
